Nolvadex + Proviron

Depending on the strength of your cycle, you might need to use both proviron AND nolvadex. Typically, a mild cycle will only warrant the use of one or the other, but a combined approach would be your best safety guarantee if the products you are using are particularly suppressive.

Proviron

How proviron works is ultimately by elevating the levels of unbound testosterone circulating within the body by actively binding to a molecule known as sex hormone binding globulin.

Through binding to this molecule, proviron is effectively able to ensure that testosterone can “reign supreme” inside the body and overpower estrogen levels. Proviron is a steroid, but it is a DHT based steroid as opposed to being testosterone based.

How Does Dihydrotestosterone (DHT) Differ From An Aromatase Inhibitor?

The reason why DHT is able to effectively bind to SHBG so effectively and stop it from “stealing” away from our testosterone stores is because it actually has a five times higher binding affinity for this molecule than testosterone does.

This means it is able to “divert” the attention of SHBG meaning that our unbound testosterone levels remain intact. On balance, an aromatase inhibitor simply serves to stop estrogen production at the source.

In their own way, both products help to reduce estrogen content in the body (the former product simply overpowers it whereas the latter stops it dead in its tracks.)

Nolvadex And Clomid

These two products are both very similar, yet slightly different in terms of how they fulfil their effects within the body.

These differences are enough that that are both able to stand out as completely independent products to one another.

The Similarities And Differences Between Nolvadex And Clomid

Both of these products reside in the breast tissue where they fulfil their “duties” within the body, though there is a slight difference in terms of what each product is capable of achieving.

Clomid is ultimately considered to be more of a fertility specialist, whereas nolvadex is considered to be more of an anti gynecomastia and anti estrogen specialist in general.

If you were just to use clomid for instance, you wouldn’t benefit from a high level of protection against gynecomastia or water retention, but you would be able to rejuvenate your testosterone production more readily.

On balance, if you were to lean on nolvadex for your sole source of protection the exact opposite would occur.

Why It’s Essential To Use Both Nolvadex And Clomid Together During PCT

The reason why using both products together should seem fairly straightforward to you at this stage - the combination of the two will simply allow you to maximally “charge” up your testosterone stores whilst simultaneously protecting you from residual estrogenic issues like gynecomastia and water retention.

The two compounds enjoy a perfectly harmonious relationship that allows the user to protect themselves from every angle.
